Rob Scribner started guiding commercial trips as summer work while attending the University of Maine in his home town of Machias. Rob began guiding on his own in 1996 running primarily kayak trips during summer months. After graduating he expanded services to include guided canoe trips and outfitting services while remaining focused on the waters of eastern Maine. Rob guides or drives shuttles full time for his business during the paddling season and attends to the development of Sunrise Canoe and Kayak during the winter months. Rob's love for the rivers and coastal waters of his home is evident in some of his stories about growing up in Washington County. |
Jen Scribner started selling kayak trips as summer work while attending the University of Maine at Machias.
